Cravings: Agata Lombardo

2170

I moved from Sicily 20 years ago, so, as you can imagine, I’m very particular about Italian food,” says Agata Lombardo, dining room manager at Bacco, “which is why I only eat it at Bacco or make it myself.” When she does depart from her native cuisine, she enjoys sushi, especially “the California, hot crab, and spicy tuna rolls at Ronin in Royal Oak. I also love the garlic fried chicken at Hong Hua; it’s really incredible.” Another on her list is The Root, “but I never order off the menu. I ask chef James Rigato to come up with a six-course menu. I’m always surprised by what he comes up with.” — Molly Abraham
