Camaro Superfest: The weekend-long event includes tours, show judging, and a Camaro parts swap and sell area. Goodie bags, dash plaques, and over 100 awards will be presented, and a pizza dinner and charity auction will be held Saturday night. June 29-July 1. Free admission. Riverside Park, 2 E. Mac. Cheese. Beer: Along with food samples from “some of the best mac ’n’ cheese in Downriver and metro Detroit,” guests will have the opportunity to taste desserts and drinks from more than 15 breweries. Greenfield Village: Salute to America, an annual Fourth of July Dearborn celebration, includes performances by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and the United States Army Field Band and Soldiers’ Chorus. DSO’s rendition of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture will be played alongside authentic cannon fire under a sky of fireworks. Through July 4. Detroit Film Theatre: To coincide with the DIA’s Star Wars and the Power of Costume exhibit, the theatre is holding a summer-long sci-fi film series. Ray LaMontagne: The American singer-songwriter, known for songs like “You Are The Best Thing” and “Let It Be Me,” is touring in support of his seventh studio album, Part Of The Light. Axle Brewing Co.: The beer brewery's Livernois Taproom hosts their second annual Canada Days celebration.
