Athleisure brand Athleta is coming to The Village of Rochester Hills. This fall, the walkable outdoor shopping center located at the corner of Adams and Walton Road will be adding Athleta to its list of retailers – ranging from beauty and clothing to food and decor.

Created in 1998, Athleta has a mission of “empowering a community of active women and girls.” Their clothes are designed for a wide range of activities including yoga, fitness training, outdoor experience, travel, and even sleep.

Pledging to offer clothing “with inclusivity at the core,” Athleta will offer 200 styles and inclusive sizing – from XXS to 3X. The store will also carry Athleta Girl, its younger girls clothing line launched in 2016. Shop leggings, sweatpants, tanks, tops, sports bras, dresses and rompers, matching sets, swim, accessories like bags, socks, shoes, and more.

According to a press release, the new location also plans to provide “in-person styling appointments, free alterations, and wellness focused community events.” You can also join their membership program and receive store discounts, free shipping on orders $50+, and a joint account for their sister brands Banana Republic, GAP, and Old Navy.

Athleta is a B Corp, meaning they strive to “meet standards of verified performance, accountability, and transparency” by taking steps to minimalize their environmental footprint. Athleta has pledged to use recycled materials, organic cotton, and invest in renewable energy sources for clothing production.
