Fenton Winery & Brewery is celebrating the grand opening of their new distillery, which will allow their taproom to serve small batch liquor and craft cocktails, in addition to the beer and wine already on tap.
Dream Machine Distillery, which officially opens with a ribbon cutting on Nov. 22, 2022, will have a base line-up of vodkas, gins, rums, and agave spirits, all of which are either labeled in honor of, or named after, some of the most innovative machines built throughout history such as the hot air balloon and the first bicycle.
“We spent a lot of time researching and educating ourselves. We bought state-of-the-art technology and worked with professionals to create the branding and to build a landmark new cocktail bar,” owners Matt and Ginny Sherrow explained in a press release.
“We wanted the distillery to have its own brand, one that really resonated with us. Dream Machine represents both the artistic and scientific approach we use to create spirits and deliver experiences here at FWB.”
Fenton Winery & Brewery will be celebrating the grand opening of Dream Machine Distillery with a week full of new spirit releases, distillery tours, and a public party on Saturday, Nov. 26, with special guest DJ Chachi — the official DJ of the Pistons and the Red Wings.
The taproom and distillery will be closed on Thanksgiving, so no special events will take place on Thursday.
Dream Machine Distillery is located at Fenton Wine & Brewery, 1370 N. Long Lake Road, Fenton. The public taproom is open 3-10 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, noon-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday, and noon-9 p.m. Sunday.
