This classic eatery celebrates good American food from all corners of the country with the best ingredients and the most traditional recipes. Chef Alex Young also grows his own vegetables and raises chickens. Whether it’s Maryland crab cakes, or New Orleans-style shrimp cooked in pilsner beer, lemon, and Worcestershire sauce, or their famous corn dogs, Zingerman’s offers a vast range of old-fashioned eating. The best may just be the buttermilk fried chicken and the macaroni and cheese, even if they are a little pricey. B, L & D daily.
