Chef Alex Young also grows his own vegetables and raises chickens. Whether it’s Maryland crab cakes, or New Orleans-style shrimp cooked in pilsner beer, lemon, and Worcestershire sauce, or their famous corn dogs, Zingerman’s offers a vast range of old-fashioned eating. The best may just be the buttermilk fried chicken and the macaroni and cheese, even if they are a little pricey. B, L & D daily.
