Foran’s Grand Trunk Pub

Profile
The narrow two-story building dates to 1879 and once served as a ticket office for the Grand Trunk Railway. Local breads from Avalon Bakery and meats from Eastern Market anchor much of the fare, which pairs well with the rotating selection of Michigan draft beers. Diners can build their own burgers, or go for staples such as the Reuben – served here with house-made Thousand Island dressing and Poet Stout Kraut – or Ghettoblaster-beer-battered fish and chips. There’s also a hearty, slightly spicy shepherd’s pie. Br. Sat.-Sun.
