The latest addition to the options along Detroit’s rebounding Park Avenue behind the Fox Theatre is a bright little spot offering an array of steak, chicken, and fish tacos and burritos on fresh tortillas from Mexicantown. The preparation and cooking are done right there in the high-ceilinged space done with bright red walls and white tile. Big containers of dried chiles aren’t just decorations; they’re ground and used in the house-made salsas and pico de gallo. L & D daily and open until 2 a.m. to accommodate the bar crowd.
