Profile
Red-velvet draped windows, swooping crystal chandeliers, older male waiters in tuxedos, and red-vested busboys. Chateaubriand cooked tableside, anyone? Yes, it’s the new Old Detroit-style dining, overlooking a golf course. Where else? From the grandson of the original Lelli’s in Detroit, Steven, and owner-partner Mark Zarkin. They have been faithful to the original recipes and menus dating from 1939, offering a style of club dining that dates back to the Pontchartrain Wine Cellars and London Chop House, but with the Italian twist. A lot of red sauce and pasta side dishes, all nicely prepared. One thing you won’t get here from old place in Detroit: Sorry, they won’t wash your car while you dine. L Mon.-Fri. D daily. (Handicap Accessible)
