September is Hunger Action Month and Bourbon Heritage Month. To honor both, Bardstown Bourbon Company is teaming up with a handful of bars and restaurants to make an Old Fashioned with Bardstown Bourbon. For each one sold, Bardstown will donate $1 to Gleaners Community Food Bank.

“We at Bardstown Bourbon Company wanted to celebrate Bourbon Heritage Month by collaborating with some of the best bar programs in Southeast Michigan to support Gleaners and strive towards a hunger-free community” says Michigan State Market Rep. Ron Miles.

Last year, Bardstown Bourbon raised over $2,000 with Old Fashioned sales at select bars and restaurants. This year, they are hoping to beat that total and engage more communities throughout the entire month of September.
