Looking forward to lounging around on a warm day with a cool drink in hand? While we still may be a couple of months away from high-temps and beach days, it doesn’t mean we can’t get started on the drinking with a refreshing new release from Blake’s Hard Cider Co.
The Armada-based company’s Blueberry and Strawberry Lemonades hit shelves this week. The pair of drinks are the first beverages in Blake’s new Farm Stand Series.
The Farm Stand Series —a “farm-to-can” lineup of hard beverages that the company plans to build upon in the coming year — is all about all-natural ingredients. Crafted on the Blake’s farm, the 6.5 percent ABV, gluten-free lemonades are made with an apple cider base with lemon juice and an infusion of real fruit. Blake’s officials say the drink delivers one-third less sugar than comparable brands.
“Our product portfolio is driven and based on what our fans like and want, which ultimately helped us create the Farm Stand Series, one of our most significant releases in 2021,” says Andrew Blake, founder of Blake’s Hard Cider, in a press release. “We enjoy the innovation side of pushing beverage boundaries and saw an opportunity to craft refreshing hard cider lemonades with natural flavors and lower sugar content that customers will enjoy.”
Blake’s Hard Cider Co.’s Blueberry and Strawberry Lemonades will be available for purchase at stores in 16 states and on the company’s website. Both lemonades come in 12-ounce six-pack cans, while the blueberry flavor is also available in a single-serve 16-ounce can.
