Brush Park Bodega, a new “all-in-one” café, market, bar, and bottleshop, is coming to Detroit. The shop is slated to open in mid-March.

The bodega will be located at 2671 Brush St. within City Modern, a Brush Park-based mixed-use development from Bedrock Detroit. It will carry Michigan-made grocery items and locally sourced produce.

It will also offer a rotating café menu of prepared breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes and a full-service bar with beer, wine, and cocktails, which can be enjoyed to-go or in-store. Customers will be able to take advantage of services like delivery and pickup, e-enabled purchasing, and quick delivery.

“We’re excited to bring to Brush Park a local, convenient market with all the essentials, as well as exciting products from Detroit and Michigan vendors,” says Marcus Perez, co-owner and founder of Brush Park Bodega, in a press release. “Our goal with the concept was to make the entire shopping experience a whole lot more fun. As part of the Bodega’s development team and a Detroit resident as well, this project is especially meaningful to me, one that I’m sure will be a beneficial addition to the area.”

Prior to Brush Park Bodega’s opening, the team behind the shop is planning initiatives that will give back to local charities and neighborhood senior citizen centers. They’re also working on shopping specials and community offerings. They hope to open additional locations after opening the bodega on Brush Street.
