Fat Tuesday is on March 1 this year, and it’s time to celebrate. Get your pączki plans in order with a visit to one of these metro Detroit spots.

The Home Bakery

This Rochester bakery has a special deal for Pączki Day — pączki are $2.25 each, or you can get a baker’s dozen for $27. Currently taking orders, The Home Bakery offers pączki flavors such as blueberry-lemon, coconut cream, cassata, lime curd, kronutczki, and strawberry. Donut Chef

Roseville’s Donut Chef will be serving up pączki starting at 5 a.m. on March 1. Classic pączki — including flavors like strawberry, apple, custard, and chocolate — are $25 for a dozen and $2.50 each. Specialty pączki — cannoli, buttercream, and strawberry cream cheese — are $30 for a dozen and $3 each. Donut Chef is also taking pre-orders via phone. Randazzo Fresh Market

Randazzo, which has three locations in metro Detroit, offers traditional pączki flavors including raspberry, lemon, apple, strawberry, and custard, as well as a cannoli pączki, which can be made with cream or ricotta filling. Yum Village

New Center restaurant Yum Village is putting an Afro-Caribbean spin on pączki. Customers can visit the eatery’s online market pantry to place their orders. Keeping things classic, the American Polish Cultural Center in Troy is offering up blueberry, apricot, custard, plum, raspberry, and strawberry flavors for its pączki sale. New Palace Bakery

Known as “Pączki Headquarters,” New Palace Bakery knows a thing or two about celebrating Fat Tuesday. The Hamtramck shop is now taking orders via phone and in person for its six pączki box options. Offered in both a dozen and half dozen options, boxes included traditional pączki flavors, including raspberry, lemon, blueberry, custard, strawberry, and apple. There’s also a specialty pączki box that includes flavors like strawberry cheesecake, buttercream, peanut butter and jelly, triple chocolate, and Centennial Brew, a coffee-flavored buttercream created in celebration of Hamtramck’s 100th anniversary. Rumi’s Passion Gluten Free Bakery
