The Detroit Public Safety Foundation (DPSF) is the official non-profit organization supporting the Detroit Police and Fire departments. The foundation supports the departments in many ways including grant funding, contributions, in-kind donations, and events. The foundation focuses on the areas of training, technology, equipment, community engagement and wellness. The DPSF works directly with department leadership to help fund priority projects which benefit both the first responders and the community.

The Detroit Public Safety Foundation is following all state guidelines regarding Covid-19 precautions. The CDC advises that some people are more likely than others to become severely ill, and some people are at a higher risk of exposure to Covid-19. Guests should evaluate their own risk in determining whether to attend. People who show no symptoms can spread Covid-19 if they are infected, and any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to Covid-19. By attending the Above and Beyond Awards, you acknowledge and agree that you assume these inherent risks associated with attendance. Masks are encouraged for all attendees and strongly encouraged for the unvaccinated except when eating. There will be plenty of physical distant seating available. We appreciate your cooperation.
