DESCRIPTION:Each year\, the Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Detroit Chapter throws one of the nation’s largest local celebrations of National Philanthropy Day. \nThis year\, the 32nd annual National Philanthropy Day will be celebrated on three separate occasions. In late October\, a series of Philanthropy Roundtables will take place at Life Remodeled and will include some of Detroit’s top philanthropy leaders. Then\, on November 8 we will host our National Philanthropy Day Awards Gala at The Henry Ford Museum\, which will include the presentation of AFP’s annual awards\, honor Distinguished Volunteers\, and recognize the importance of philanthropy and coming together as a community.
