The Junior League of Birmingham is excited to announce an empowering and career-boosting event, Brunch & Learn: Elevate Your Leadership Game, taking place on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 11 AM to 1 PM at Lockhart’s BBQ in Royal Oak, MI.
This dynamic and interactive brunch session is designed to help attendees advance their careers through hands-on guidance and expert insights. Participants will learn valuable skills in three critical areas:
Resume Enhancement: Discover techniques to make your resume stand out and catch the attention of employers.
Interview Success: Build a strategic plan for interviews, including tips for confident communication and making a lasting impression.
LinkedIn Refinement: Learn how to optimize your LinkedIn profile to showcase your strengths and attract new opportunities.
Angela Buccellato, founder of The Resume Rescue and a renowned career strategist, will lead the workshop. With her background in recruiting and experience working with large enterprise companies, Angela will offer candid, practical advice on what works—and what doesn’t—when it comes to personal branding and career development.
Attendees will enjoy a delicious brunch buffet alongside their professional development, with non-alcoholic beverages included and a cash bar available. Tickets are $25 for Junior League members and $30 for non-members.
