Detroit Symphony Orchestra Opening Night Gala
September 28 @ 5:00 pm - September 29 @ 12:00 am
The Detroit Symphony Orchestra is proud to kick off another remarkable season of performances and programming with the Opening Night Gala on September 28, which supports the DSO’s mission to ensure young people have access to music education and a path to all that is possible. The unforgettable evening will feature a concert by your Detroit Symphony Orchestra and Grammy Award-winning artist Branford Marsalis, conducted by Music Director Jader Bignamini. There will be red carpet arrivals and photos, and all levels of the William Davidson Atrium will be activated with a pre-concert reception for concert attendees. In addition, for gala supporters, a formal dinner will follow this once-in-a-lifetime performance in the Peter D. and Julie F. Cummings Cube.
