DESCRIPTION:Join Jewish Family Service for an emotional and educational evening as Father Patrick Desbois shares his riveting story. As a Roman Catholic priest he is devoted to educating the world about the Holocaust and antisemitism. His dedication to discovering genocidal practices and providing proof of crimes against humanity has been featured on 60 Minutes. His book\, Holocaust by Bullets: A Priest’s Journey to Uncover the Truth Behind the Murder of 1.5 Million Jews\, is based on this work. \nFather Desbois will be signing books (available for purchase) at the dessert reception following his talk. \n6:15pm Registration\n7pm Program \nJewish Family Service is a non-sectarian nonprofit social service agency that serves as the heart of a stronger community. JFS serves thousands each year through a range of services in the areas of older adult services\, mental health and wellness\, and safety net services. JFS supports Holocaust survivors to age in place\, through geriatric care management\, home care\, friendly visitors\, transportation\, assistive technology and much more. \n
