Log Cabin Sundays: Earth Tones concert + Made In Palmer Park art exhibit

People for Palmer Park’s new, free outdoor music series—Earth Tones—concludes for the season this Sunday, Oct 1 with 2 trios of extrasensory improvisers—The Michael Malis Trio w/ Jaribu Shahid and David Alvarez III, and the Dennard Deas Daher Trio.

We’re also elated to welcome you to our first Made In Palmer Park art exhibition in the log cabin. The exhibition (and Storytime w/ Brilliant Detroit) begins at 2 and the concert begins at 4. Our friends from Pink Flamingo will be serving up nutritious foods too. Bring family and friends, a blanket or some chairs and enjoy a sunny day in the park, sharing creative music & art!

This is a family-friendly gathering (sociable dogs welcomed, too!) and opportunity to tour the interior of the historic Log Cabin. Presented by People for Palmer Park with support from Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce & GM’s NeighborHUB program.
