Meadow Brook Theatre Guild is hosting its 40th annual fundraiser “Luncheon on the Aisle”
on Thursday, April 27, 2023. This fun-filled event features selected scenes from the musical hit Honkey Tonk Angels along with 30 classic country songs such as “Stand By Your Man”, “Harper Valley PTA”, and
“9 to 5”. Activities include: a high-end raffle, bake sale, gourmet lunch, and a talkback after the performance with the director and actors.
Meadow Brook Theatre Guild is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization Tax ID: 128691 whose mission is to promote community interest in theatre and to provide service and support to the Meadow Brook Theatre. The Guild has been in existence for over 46 years and is the theatre’s largest contributor.
Through the Guild’s fundraisers we have been able to purchase many items needed by the theatre, help provide scholarships, and sponsor plays. We also provide meals for the technical crew during dress rehearsals, create welcome baskets for out-of-town actors, sponsor “Meet and Greet” receptions for actors and crew, and decorate the theatre lobby for Christmas.
As Michigan’s flagship professional theatre for the past 56 years, Meadow Brook Theatre and its Community Outreach Programs have been recognized by the Michigan Council for the Arts and Cultural Affairs as an Anchor Arts Organization. More than 20,000 students have attended its award-winning educational programs or participated in technical on-site internship programs.
