Exhibition Opening Reception for “Reparations of the Heart: Recent Work By Kristin Anahit Cass.” Thursday, April 13th 5:00- 7:00 pm. Kristin Anahit Cass will speak at 6:00pm. Reception is free to the public. Complimentary refreshments and hors d’oeuvres provided.
This exhibition features the remarkable photography of Chicago- based artist Kristin Anahit Cass. As noted by Lori Waxman in New City, Cass’s “portraits of both people and places are composed with a tender straightforwardness that befits each particular subject. Instead of the aestheticized ruins of disaster porn, moments of human resilience shine through alongside the trauma.”
