Turning Point’s 7th Annual Stepping Out with the Stars

Turning Point, a Mt. Clemens-based agency whose mission is to empower domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking survivors through comprehensive services and resources, will host its 7th annual fundraiser, Stepping Out with the Stars, at The Palazzo Grande in Shelby Township on April 14. The night is centered around five community members committed to be event dancers, who train with professional instructors moths in advance to perform a dance routine. Dancers compete to be crowned the best dancer and collect the most votes (donations) to support Turning Point. This event also includes a survivor speaker, dinner, premium open bar, a silent auction, raffles, and a wine pull. Turning Point is excited to welcome Shea Whitfield, one of the stars from HGTV’s hit show “Bargain Block”, and her husband, Terry Whitfield, a partnership manager of Policy & Systems at The Skillman Foundation and budding HGTV star, as the evening’s emcees.
