The Junior League of Birmingham, MI (JLB) is hosting the Fourth Annual Little Black Dress Initiative (LBDI) Luncheon on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at The Village Club in Bloomfield Hills to increase awareness of the challenges facing women in poverty in our area. Proceeds from this year’s event will go toward funding the League’s numerous community programs that support women in crisis in Oakland County.
Tickets and sponsorships start at $60 and are available now at jlbham.org/events. Attendees will enjoy a full Village Club luncheon, raffle prizes, and a keynote address by Edee Franklin, founder and president of Sanctum House in Royal Oak. Sanctum House is a voluntary residential 24-month program for women where survivors of human trafficking can heal and rebuild their lives.
