Spirit of Giving Awards Gala 2016

Detroit neighborhood human service organization Franklin Wright Settlements hosted its annual Spirit of Giving Awards Gala at the Belle Isle Casino on Dec. 10. Guests posthumously honored Judith D. Jackson and Dr. Gerald Smith for their “outstanding commitment to excellence, innovation, and community service.” The evening included dinner, an energetic musical performance by Alexander Zonjic & Friends, and more. For more than 130 years, FWS has been aiding the Detroit community with its self-help strategies, programs, and opportunities.
