How much is admission and where can I purchase tickets?

Friday’s VIP event admission is $99. Admission to the Public Show for Saturday and/or Sunday is $49 each day. Tickets can be purchased here. They may also be purchased at the event. Ticket price includes food samples, entertainment, & non-alcoholic beverages. Drink tickets will be available for purchase at the event & can be used to access tastings of the large variety of wines, beers, and spirits.

What does my VIP Preview sponsored by Celebrity Cruises ticket include?

The VIP Night of Hour Detroit’s Food and Wine Show presented by Visit Detroit is an evening of high style with breathtaking views of the Detroit River from inside the gorgeous Huntington Ballroom. Guests will enjoy premium wine pairings and bites from select Hour Detroit’s Best of Detroit winning restaurants and preview select vendors exhibiting at the public show the remainder of the weekend.

General Admission tickets include unlimited food samples, live entertainment, cooking demonstrations, and non-alcoholic beverage samples. Ticket is only good for one day. When is the event?

VIP Preview sponsored by Celebrity Cruises, Friday, August 12; 6–10 p.m. Public Show Saturday, August 13 and Sunday, August 14; 1–5 p.m.

Who is welcome to attend?

With the purchase of a ticket, the public is invited to join and enjoy Hour Detroit’s Food & Wine Show presented by Visit Detroit. Attendees must be at least 21 years old to enter. As an alcohol-related event, all attendees must have a government-issued photo ID denoting their age to enter the show.

Are tickets refundable? Can I switch tickets for another day?

Tickets can be transferred to another day if you contact the event team by August 10th. General admission tickets will incur an upcharge if they are being transferred to the VIP night.

Is there re-entry? Can I come back a second day with my ticket?

Yes, same day re-entry is allowed with a hand stamp from an event staff member. Tickets are valid for one-day admission only.

Where do I park?

Huntington Place has 4,196 parking spaces available for a fee paid by credit card on a first come, first serve basis at the Roof Deck parking, Washington Blvd. Garage, the Huntington Place Congress Street Garage and in the Joe Louis Garage. All parking areas include handicapped parking spaces and wheelchair-accessible facility access.

Can I purchase wine and spirits at the festival to take home?

You may not purchase any alcoholic beverages to take home with you.

Are wheelchairs available?

Wheelchairs are available upon request at the concourse Information Desk. The number of chairs is limited and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

May I smoke?

Huntington Place is a non-smoking facility. Outdoor smoking near the facility is prohibited within 25 feet of doors, windows and open-air intakes.

What do I do if I’ve had too much to drink?

We encourage responsible tasting and designated driving. There are a number of transportation options available if your ability to drive is impaired.
