Pontiac READS! - Girls Reading for Give Detroit 2022// MISSION

Pontiac READS!’s Mission: Ensure that all children in the City of Pontiac are prepared for the global marketplace by demonstrating the ability to read, write, speak, and listen proficiently.

Pontiac READS!, a local chapter of the national Campaign for Grade-Level Reading, champions every Pontiac child reading at or beyond grade level.

The program is built around four research-backed pillars critical to literacy success: summer learning, early literacy learning, school attendance, and health and wellness.
