Give Detroit – A Charitable Registry
// MISSION
To mobilize the caring power of Detroit and Southeastern Michigan to improve communities and individual lives in measurable and lasting ways.
// KEY SERVICES PROVIDED
Basic Needs: Available 24/7/365, our 2-1-1 helpline connects callers in need with resources like housing, food, child care, utility assistance and more.
Education: Through United Way’s Community Schools initiative, a collection of classrooms full of resources and support become a hub for student success. We also work to create equitable access to affordable, quality child care by helping parents navigate the care and payment support options available to them.
Financial Stability: Our tax assistance and training programs help families increase household incomes and keep more of what they earn.
Digital Inclusion: We work to create equitable access to technology that students, seniors and families need to learn, work and connect.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: We are committed to deconstructing systemic racism and institutional bias while promoting diversity, equity and inclusion as a core value of our work. We collaborate with community stakeholders to prioritize matters of injustice, and we fight for change.
