What advice do you give patients to help them live a longer, healthier life?

Regular physical activity, including cardio and strength training, is crucial. A goal of movement every day is a great start! In orthopedics, we offer both surgical and nonsurgical options to allow patients to remain active and pain-free.

Here are some key practices to consider: Maintaining a balanced, noninflammatory diet. [Getting] quality sleep on a consistent schedule is also essential. Staying hydrated by drinking at least eight glasses of water a day. Avoiding harmful habits like smoking and excessive alcohol consumption. [Having] regular health checkups and preventive health care. Cultivating strong social connections and a supportive community. Combining these habits can significantly enhance not only the length of life but the quality as well.
