What are some recent innovations in your field that you’re excited about?
We are pushing forward to adapt more and more operations to a minimally invasive approach, giving our patients the best of both worlds — the long-term benefits that only surgery can provide with fewer of the drawbacks like longer recovery.
Also, for patients with heart failure, we can offer better therapies — from improved long-term heart pumps to better outcomes with heart transplants that can give patients decades of life that they would not otherwise have.
