Movement Music Festival, one of the longest-running dance music events in the world, has announced its stages and showcase lineup for the 2024 event, which is returning to Hart Plaza this Memorial Day weekend.
More than 115 acts will perform across six stages — the Movement Stage, Waterfront Stage presented by JARS, Pyramid Stage, Stargate Stage, Underground Stage, and Detroit Stage — during the three-day event. There will also be pop-up sets by HouseParty, Roacksteady Disco, and A Dub Supreme performed in the VIP area.
Headliners at this year’s event include dance music legend Fatboy Slim, DJ and producer Solomun, electronic music innovator Richie Hawtin, House artist Dom Dolla, hip-hop artist Ludacris, and many others.
There will also be a special 30-year anniversary celebration of Metalheadz Record, as well as Carl’s Craig’s traveling party series, Detroit Love, produced in collaboration with UK dance label Defected Records, Masters At Work Present, KMS Records, and House Your Life by DJ Minx.
Plus, performances by some big names and rising stars in Detroit’s music scene such as DJ 3000, DJ Godfather, Sheefy McFly, and others (catch them on the Detroit Stage).
The 2024 Movement Music Festival will be held at Hart Plaza in Detroit May 25-27. General admission ranges from $159-$309. VIP passes are also available for an additional charge. Tickets are on sale now through the event’s website.
