Detroit Cristo Rey High School hosted the 2023 Gala — Caring for Creation on Friday, May 19 at the Masonic Temple in Detroit to raise funds for programming for students. Guests at this year’s event were treated to a VIP cocktail hour and an auction, along with the main event, which was emceed by Megan Woods of WDIV and featured keynote speaker, Marcela Escobar-Alava, the Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of Technology – The White House.
