Detroit: The City of Chefs Michigan Dinner of the Decade

Filmmaker Keith Famie, producer of ”Detroit: The City of Chefs II,” hosted its Dinner of the Decade on May 30 at the Country Club of Detroit in Grosse Pointe Farms. The event, a tribute to James Beard, was hosted by Master Chef Brian Beland and James Beard Award winner Chef Jimmy Schmidt and included a chef-crafted four-course dinner to raise money for two $5,000 donation scholarships for the Michigan Chef’s de Cuisine at the Oakland Community College and Schoolcraft College.
