Empty Bowls 2017

On March 3, Cass Community Social Services hosted its annual Empty Bowls event at Eastern Market in Shed 5. The event, which raised awareness and funds for the organization’s food program, featured live entertainment and local celebrities serving soup. Guests could also bid on custom-painted bowls created by celebrities such as rapper Big Sean. Cass Community Social Services serves one million hungry people every year, and provides those in need with basic living necessities, housing, job training and healthcare.
