Shades of Pink: A Walk at the Zoo 2016

On April 30, the Shades of Pink Foundation held its annual Walk at the Zoo fundraising event at the Detroit Zoo. The organization provides temporary financial assistance to breast cancer patients during treatment and recovering, for expenses such as insurance payments, food, transportation, childcare, and other essentials of daily life.
