Special Olympics Unified Relay Across America

On June 8, the first-ever Special Olympics Unified Relay Across America presented by Bank of America made its way through Detroit. Bank of America employees joined their Michigan neighbors and Special Olympics supporters in helping carry the Special Olympics Flame of Hope, as the torch makes this historic journey across America, on its way to the 2015 Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles. Following the relay, an evening celebration was held at Cheli’s Chili Bar to welcome the Flame of Hope, including entertainment by local bands, and media personalities.
