On Sept. 14, University of Michigan hosted its 2nd annual Uncork for a Cure. The sold out event was held at Bacco Ristorante in Southfield. Guests enjoyed delectable dishes created by several James Beard Foundation Award nominees, including Luciano Del Signore, James Rigato, and Andy Hollyday, as well as Bacco Ristorante’s executive chef, Gabriel Botezan. Guests uncorked fine wine provided by Madeline Triffon, the master sommelier of Plum Market. Proceeds from the event supported the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center Breast Oncology Program and the breast oncology surgical fellowship, which assists patient care and research.
