Carole Porretta has been a licensed Realtor since 1992, a Broker since 2004 and now is celebrating her 20th year as the Broker/Owner of award-winning Coventry Realty LLC, a privately owned boutique office in the Village of Metamora. For 13 years she has enjoyed the distinction of being an HOUR Detroit Real Estate All-Star in the top 5% of sales volume and earned many local awards. Her early years in public relations at Sinai Hospital and in an executive position at the Detroit law firm of Dykema Gossett clearly paved the way for her lifetime career in real estate, adapting easily to those dynamics with this background. Adjusting to country life started with acquiring 35 acres in 1988 and building a lasting family home for 3 decades, combining a growing family with this new venture. Having acquired her private pilot’s license helped find her family’s property and learn to navigate the area she soon would be serving.

In 2005 Carole purchased a building in the heart of the Village, spent nearly a year in renovations and opened Coventry Realty. Her office is staffed with dedicated professionals and consistently performs in the top 5% of Michigan Realtors. Part of being associated with Coventry Realty means giving back to the community, and Carole truly enjoys the role of an ambassador supporting local charities and events while devoting her time to philanthropic, charitable and professional organizations. For 22 years Carole sat on the Board and also served as Secretary for Banbury Cross Therapeutic Equestrian Center, a riding experience for children with special needs, seven years on the Board of Seven Ponds Nature Center, eight years serving on the Metamora DDA, 32 years a member of the Metamora Chamber of Commerce and also serving as Membership Chair and in 2023 she was honored as the Grand Marshal for Metamora Country Days. Her support of Lapeer schools and her local Pilgrim Church keep her connected to God and the community in her close environment.

Coventry Realty specializes in equestrian farms, country estates, lake properties, vacant land and urban housing, and has unique listings all over the state of Michigan. Lapeer, Oakland and the surrounding counties command most of the Company’s services, but with referral business they have served Pleasant Ridge, Ferndale, Troy, Royal Oak, Birmingham, Pleasant Ridge, Bloomfield, Farmington, Clarkston and as far north as Harbor Springs

Carole is currently renovating an 1875 stone cottage on ten acres with a pond and stables, bringing another new dynamic to share. A balancing act with her busy career, 11 grandkids, new home and chapter in life keeps her busy with all the things she is passionate about.
