Peppermint is an essential holiday flavor, and these metro Detroit bars, bakeries, and sweet shops are serving up specialties all season long that pay homage to the seasonal staple.

Le Detroit Macaron

In addition to its signature macaron flavors like Chocolate Malt and Crème Brule, Le Detroit Macaron also offers a different seasonal flavor each month. The Morrie

The self-described “quintessential neighborhood gathering place” hosts live music every week and its hand-crafted cocktails are one in a million. This month, The Morrie’s Royal Oak location gets into the holiday spirit with the Baby It’s Cold Outside martini. Germack Pistachio Co. offers house-roasted nuts, seeds, and more than 20 varieties of bagged coffee beans. Just in time for the holidays, Germack has released its Almond Vanilla and Peppermint Mocha flavor beans. Ale Mary’s Beer Hall

In addition to its huge selection of craft beers, Ale Mary’s also offers milkshakes. Each year, the bar hosts Jingle, a Christmas popup.
