Fourth Annual BRU Fest in Royal Oak

On Saturday, June 14 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., The Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan will be hosting the fourth annual BRU Fest Fundraiser at the Royal Oak Farmer’s Market. Michigan craft beer powerhouse, Bell’s Brewery, will be providing more than 20 craft beers, including six hard-to-find selections.

The event combines craft beer, food, and live entertainment from The Hype Syndicate while raising money for children suffering from leukemia.

Tickets are priced at $39 for general admission, which includes 10 tokens for beer samples and 4 tickets for food items from Bagger Dave’s Legendary Burger Tavern and Buffalo Wild Wings.

VIP tickets are priced at $60, and include early admission at 6 p.m., private beer tappings with exclusive food pairings, a larger mug, and more.

As an added first-time feature of the event, BRU Fest 2014 will include a fundraising “BRU Pong Tournament.” Teams of two will participate in a single-elimination tournament and represent a CLF patient family, with proceeds benefiting the Children’s Leukemia Foundation’s THE WALK fundraiser on July 21st. Participation in the BRU Pong Tournament is an additional $5.
