Green Dot Stables

Proprietors Jacques and Christine Driscoll spruced up the harness racing-themed brick-walled  bar, and customers immediately responded to their menu of sliders — no fewer than 18 eclectic bun toppings, from Cuban, corned beef, and lamb to Korean, black bean, and peanut butter and jelly. Local beers are spotlighted along with such sides as truffle and herb fries, mac ’n’ cheese, and chicken paprikas soup, the latter a bow to the Hungarian origins of the neighborhood. It’s a hit.
