The appropriately car-themed rooms of a 1940s vintage Gulf service station in the heart of downtown Northville are as fresh and appealing as the dishes themselves. Executive chef Steve Siekierzynski serves up succulent steamed mussels and chicken spring rolls, crisp-crusted pizzas, beef sliders, and Parmesan-dusted perch, all served in the high-ceilinged rooms done up by the team of Ron & Roman. It’s a major hit for proprietors Michael Bageris and Bill Evasic, who’ve felt like proud parents since Garage opened in late November with its stunning, glass-sheathed kitchen. Siekierzynski ought to take a bow, too.
