DOWNTOWN LOUIE’S LOUNGE /// First-time patrons are amazed at both the exterior and interior transformation of a building that was an eyesore in the downtown landscape, but is now adding to its rebound. The balconied space is airy and appealing, with a temperature-controlled wine cabinet that is the focus behind the bar. The menu includes typical bar snacks as well as heartier fare including an array of burgers and New York strip and rib-eye steaks.
