Executive chef Chris Franz and chef de cuisine Jeff Lanctot are carrying on the tradition that began in 1988 when the riverside restaurant opened to major fanfare. Now it’s reaching a new, younger audience that appreciates its more casual atmosphere and a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients, the power lunch (in and out in an hour), and simplified dinner menu offering two, three, or four courses at $37, $47, and $57, respectively. Master sommelier Claudia Tyagi has freshened the wine list — and no one blinks at casual dress these days.
