HOT SPOT: TEXAS DE BRAZIL
This downtown spot takes the all-you-care-to-eat concept to a high level with its lavish appetizer buffet and sword-like skewers of grilled meats delivered to tables by gaucho-costumed waiters. Complementing the Brazilian rodizio-style service are caipirinha — Brazil’s classic cocktail of fresh lime, sugar, and cachaça (Brazilian rum) — and pitchers of fruit-filled sangria. The festive atmosphere is enhanced by massive framed mirrors and towering floral arrangements. Judging by the crowds flocking in since it opened in late summer, this may be the sort of spot the Central Business District has been waiting for.
