You might think that after less than two years in existence, this high-rise destination would not have needed a revision. After all, it has a spectacular setting with a state-of-the-art exhibition kitchen and a skyline view through expansive windows on the 16th floor of the MotorCity Casino Hotel. But it needed changes, and the arrival of executive chef Don Yamauchi provided the needed boost. Yamauchi rewrote and improved the contemporary American menu, making it more accessible without dumbing it down. Crowds are responding.
