LE GEORGE MEDITERRANEAN BISTRO:
An open kitchen sends out house-made pita bread to accompany the Middle Eastern menu of kaftas and kabobs, with a few French touches in such dishes as tournedos and steak au poivre — an acknowledgment of the French influence in Lebanon, birthplace of proprietor George Farah. The cry of “opa!” resounds in St. Clair Shores since the opening of the second edition of the longstanding Greektown restaurant at 558 Monroe.
