M-Brew, Ferndale’s Michigan-only craft café and carry out, will be hosting Brews & Bites, a strolling, guided beer tasting event featuring Short’s Brewing Company on Feb. 10, 7 – 9 p.m.
M-Brew regularly offers 30 rotating tap handles of Michigan beer and cider, plus a limited selection of bottles. Growlers and howlers to go are also available.
The regular menu at M-Brew features pizza (round and Detroit-style deep dish), pasties, barbecue, Frankenmuth-style fried chicken, hot dogs, burgers, soups, salads, and desserts – all made with Michigan ingredients.
Brian Talpos of Short’s will be on hand to guide guests through the strolling event, explain the beer and food pairings, share his beer knowledge, and tell tales from the brewery.
Short’s will be bringing five beers for the event – two of them pub-only selections – to pair with a special menu.
