MORELS:

The successor to the original in Bingham Farms bears no resemblance in setting to its predecessor but does highlight the prized mushroom and its exotic cousins in many dishes, from gnocchi with morels to a silky bisque and a tasting of mushrooms. The true emphasis here is on Michigan products, including an all-Michigan beer list and many wines. The country-house setting in a freestanding building offers a view of herb gardens through big windows. Entrees range from veal tenderloin and beef brisket to crab-encrusted walleye and a classic burger.

LE CHEF LEBANESE CUISINE:

An unlikely location in a Home Depot shopping plaza just might be part of the charm of this handsome restaurant that exceeds expectations with its well-appointed dining room and many amenities that back up the well-prepared fare from the perspective of Northern Lebanon, accompanied by wines from Lebanon’s lush Bekaa Valley. The menu encompasses the wide scope of Middle Eastern dishes, such as classic lamb and chicken, vegetarian preparations, and side dishes that customize each meal.
