Peppermint Martini

There’s no better booze than holiday booze. Those words have yet to be penned in a timeless country song (you’re welcome, Blake Shelton). But downtown’s Centaur Bar has all the sweet, warm fuzzies you seek in a holiday cocktail. Their extensive lineup of creative “martinis” features a Peppermint Martini with the classic cool of a candy cane. And it goes well with the bar’s decadently Art Deco decor. 

Ingredients:

1½ ounces Bacardi rum
½ ounce white crème de cacao
1 ounce peppermint liqueur
1 ounce cream
1 peppermint candy
Grenadine syrup

Directions: 

Mix ingredients except candy and grenadine in a shaker. Place candy in bottom of a chilled martini glass and strain drink into glass. Garnish with stripes of grenadine over the top.
