Celebrity Chef Michael Symon’s signature restaurant on the street level of the Westin Book Cadillac is a terrific addition to downtown’s dining options. Meat is the heart of the menu, as attested to by the glassed-in rotisserie rotating what the restaurant has dubbed the “beast of the day” — a suckling pig or goat, perhaps, and what could be a better conversation starter? There’s much more on the à la carte menu, including dry-aged steaks, veal, pork and venison chops, and lamb porterhouse. The contemporary setting is uncluttered and sophisticated.
