Detroit is making waves in the sneaker scene this fall as Detroit-based luxe streetwear brand, Two18, and Air Jordan team up to release a collection of Detroit-inspired Air Jordan 2s.

The highly anticipated low-top shoe, which was inspired by the city’s resilience, comes in earth tones, and is made of a mix of nubuck, sappy suede and a croc print. The insole features a map of Detroit and some of the surrounding cities.

“The goal was to create a shoe for the streets, to honor Detroit’s entrenched sneaker culture. We also want to appeal to those outside our borders who just love the city’s vibe,” Roland Coit, the owner of Two18, said in a press release. “That’s why the insole’s graphics also include cities around the area, shouting out Pontiac, Southfield, Oak Park, Inkster, Highland Park and Flint.”

In addition to the sneaker, Two18 is also set to release a matching apparel line that includes two unisex t-shirts, a men’s hoodie and shorts, and a women’s jogging suit.

The shoes will retail at $200, and will be available at the Detroit Launch on Oct. 14 at Two18, 1400 E. Fisher Service Drive, Detroit. The collection will launch globally on Oct. 21.
